Intended Use
This dataset is intended to be used for training and evaluating automatic speech recognition (ASR) models. It may also be used for applications relating to computer-aided language learning (CALL) and language or heritage revitalisation.
qus)This datasheet is for version 24.0 of the the Mozilla Common Voice Scripted Speech dataset
for Quechua Santiago del Estero (qus). The dataset contains 10849 clips representing 11.57 hours of recorded
speech (11 hours validated) from 24 speakers.
Quechua Santiago del Estero, identified by the ISO 639-3: qus, belongs to the Quechua II group.
The dataset includes the following distribution of age and gender.
Self-declared gender information, percentage refers to the number of clips annotated with this gender.

Quechua language is written in the Latin script. All Quechua dialects form words by sequentially adding suffixes to a root and follows a Subject-Object-Verb (SOV) word order. Unlike most Quechua dialects, which employ a standard three-vowel system, this dialect is typically written using five vowels.
